Home in Hefei

We arrived in Hefei this evening around 11pm and were met by Jane (see picture below).  



Our six hour layover in Shanghai was spent sprawled out across several waiting area seats trying to grab a few winks.

We are now at the Hotel in Hefei where we have ordered room service (fried rice) and will soon hit the sack!  We were able to Skype with Macey, Matt and Charlotte at home..very cool.

We are now scheduled to meet Mary Henley on Wednesday, January 4th around 10am.

We are very excited...and tired!

    Oh Meritt and mike ... It just feels surreal to be reading all this. We are so excited for you all. We know what an incredible few weeks this will be ...and all leading to an incredible new family! Feels like just yesterday we were there. Now Bella is home and tonight eating Oreos on the couch.     We are so glad you are there! I am also glad to hear Meritt's medication worked. I know you are tired, but I wanted to let you know that we are praying for you and the girls often. We love you both and look forward to hearing more about the journey God has planned.
