Meritt and I have arrived in Shanghai where it is 4pm on Monday afternoon (3am in ATL). Flight was actually very good...Meritt was heavily medicated which probably added to the pleasure of the flight. We are currently waiting to board a short flight to Hefei...which unfortunately does not leave until 9pm Shanghai time.
We had a great send off this morning as Marshall and Rachel carried us to the airport, and despite having two of our four bags weigh in at 65 pounds each (a fact that should have cost us $140 for oversized bags), a very nice lady named Joanne waived all of our fees after she found out we were heading to China to adopt two little girls. She was very nice!
If all goes as currently planned we will meet Mary Henley tomorrow...more to come!
hey mom and hey dad watsup yah know nothing big going on right :) haha hope all as well dad maybe you can medicate mom so much that she will fall into a deep sleep then its just smooth sailing from there oh and mom try not to freak her out to much and skype us oh and this is matt if you probly didnt guess that already
